Our Primary 1 pupils have been learning about St Brigid and the story of her miraculous cloak. To celebrate St Brigid’s Day, the children created a beautiful class display by weaving colourful strips of paper together, just like the woven rushes traditionally used to make St Brigid’s crosses.
The activity helped the children develop their fine‑motor skills while learning about an important Irish saint and a much‑loved tradition. Their finished cloak is now proudly on display in the classroom - well done, P1!
