A Special Visit from Baby Alannah Delights P4

19th May 2026

Our P4 pupils recently began the Flourish programme with a very special lesson focused on caring for a baby. We were delighted to welcome Emma, who visited the class with her baby daughter Alannah, who is Connie-Mae’s little sister.

Emma shared fascinating insights about pregnancy, including showing the children a baby scan photograph. The pupils learned all about how to care for a newborn baby and the important role we can play in helping babies grow, develop and learn new skills.

The children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Alannah, playing some of her favourite games and even singing songs to entertain her. It was a wonderful, hands-on learning experience for everyone.

A huge thank you to Emma for taking the time to visit and for sharing her knowledge and experiences with us.
