Our Primary 7 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable day at the Ulster American Folk Park, delving into the history of the Irish Famine. From stepping inside the old schoolhouse to boarding the Famine ship and visiting the blacksmith’s forge, they were transported back in time to experience what life was like during this pivotal era.
This immersive trip was the perfect way to conclude our Famine topic, deepening understanding while connecting with our rich local history.
