P3 played a game of “catch the worms”, with teams racing against the clock to find as many different coloured worms (wool) as they could. They collected these “worms” in order from start to end of game. Once observing the collections, they noticed that the brighter worms were found quicker and the darker colours were harder to find. They “camouflaged” into the grass. They learnt how minibeasts protect themselves from predators by lack of visibility.
