Catholic Schools Week 2026: “Normal Lives – Called to Holiness”
This week we celebrated Catholic Schools Week, reflecting on the theme “Normal Lives – Called to Holiness.” Throughout the week, each class spent time discussing how we can live out this calling every day through our actions, words, kindness, and care for one another.
Today, our school community gathered for a very special School Mass, where we also honoured and gave thanks for our wonderful grandparents. It was lovely to welcome so many who joined us for this meaningful celebration. We are deeply grateful to Fr McAnenely for celebrating the Mass, to all the children who took part through readings, the Prayers of the Faithful and the Offertory gifts, to Mr Gallagher for preparing the children and supporting them in showing reverence and respect, and to Mr McCullagh and Mrs McElholm for leading our choir so beautifully throughout the service.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this celebration so special—a fitting end to a week filled with reflection, gratitude, and community.
