Primary 1 have been learning about money, focusing on recognising the 1p coin and using it to make different amounts. The children practised counting in pennies and used real 1p coins to buy items from our class shop. This helped them understand how we use money in everyday life and how to count out the correct amount. A fun, practical way to build early numeracy skills!
