Creativity and Curiosity Shine in P7 AI Workshop

Our P7 pupils were delighted to welcome James from the AMMA team to school for a very informative and engaging workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
During the session, the children explored how AI can be used effectively in the modern world, while also learning about the potential dangers and ways it can be misused. James shared lots of useful advice on how to spot what is real and what is fake online, including how to fact-check photos and videos using tools such as Google Lens. The pupils found this especially interesting and relevant in today’s digital world.
The workshop finished with a fun and creative activity where the children designed and created their own games using MakeCode Arcade. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm, creativity and problem-solving skills on display throughout the session.
A huge thank you to James and the entire AMMA team for all of their support with our classes over the course of this year. The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from each workshop and experience provided.
