We enjoyed a fantastic day of running at St Colmcille's Cross Country event today. A total of 27 runners represented our school, and every single one of them performed brilliantly, showing determination, grit, and most importantly superb teamwork and sportsmanship. We are immensely proud of all our runners.
A special congratulations to Isabelle, who finished 2nd in the Fun Run event, with Sally close behind in 4th place. Both girls delivered outstanding performances.
Well done to Therese, who claimed gold in the P5 girls’ race, and to Noah, who finished 1st in the P7 boys’ race. Congratulations also to Cahir, who secured an impressive 4th place in the same race.
Our P7 girls showed exceptional effort and determination, with Áine finishing 7th, Caela 8th, Ria 11th, and Aoibheann 14th. Their hard work continued in the relay event, where the team went on to win silver, a fantastic achievement.
