Primary 6 and Primary 7 took part in an important internet‑safety information session led by Wayne Denner, who spoke to pupils about how to stay safe, make good choices, and protect themselves online.
During the session, pupils learned about:
- How to keep personal information private
- The importance of strong passwords
- How to recognise unsafe or unkind online behaviour
- What to do if something online makes them feel unsure or uncomfortable
- How their online actions can have real‑world consequences
Wayne encouraged pupils to think carefully before posting, sharing or communicating online, and reminded them of the importance of speaking to a trusted adult if they ever need help.
It was an engaging and valuable session that helped P6 and P7 build confidence and awareness as responsible digital citizens.
