We are delighted to congratulate every runner who took part in today’s Our Lady of Lourdes Cross Country event in Greencastle. Blessed with beautiful spring sunshine, our pupils faced a challenging course with great determination and strength.
We are incredibly proud of the effort and spirit shown by all participants and hope they feel proud of their achievements. Special congratulations go to our podium winners: Therese, who earned bronze in the P4 girls’ race; Noah, winner of the P6 boys’ race; and the boys’ relay team of Shea, Padraig, Daithi, and Noah, who claimed first place.
It was a truly memorable day for everyone involved. We would also like to thank all the family members who came along to cheer on the runners and to Jenny for providing some much-appreciated ice lollies — a welcome treat for the children after their races.
A big thank you to Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School and the McCullagh family for their excellent organisation and hospitality in hosting another fantastic event.
