P3 have been busy exploring Practical Maths through a range of hands-on, engaging activities. Using Izak 9 resources, they worked collaboratively to tackle mathematical challenges and think strategically. The class explored shape and structure by building models with construction materials and even designed their own fairytale castles, discussing the properties of 2D and 3D shapes along the way. They also enjoyed a variety of number games that helped to strengthen their mental maths and deepen their understanding of number relationships. It has been a fun and active week full of creativity, teamwork, and mathematical thinking!
