Our P4 pupils enjoyed a fantastic learning walk through Loughmacrory, discovering fascinating pieces of local history. They visited the site of the old chapel and the mill, discussing what was produced there in the past.
To bring history to life, the children then had the chance to use flour (just like in the old days) as an ingredient to bake their own bread. It was a brilliant way to connect the past with the present and learn through hands-on experience!
