Our P6 boys travelled to the Rock to take part in the Sean Ruddy Cup tournament hosted by Sacred Heart Rock PS.
After a wonderful day of football, the boys found themselves in the Shield Final against a very talented St Joseph’s Galbally side. Following an exciting and closely contested match between two excellent teams, our boys came out on top by just two points to claim the Shield title.
Throughout the day, the boys displayed tremendous skill, determination and bravery, while also showing great sportsmanship and teamwork. Most importantly, they enjoyed a fantastic day of fun and camaraderie with all the various schools in attendance.
A massive thank you to Sacred Heart Rock PS and Master Kelly for the kind invitation and for organising such an enjoyable and well-run tournament. We had a brilliant day from start to finish.
