P7 Take Maths Learning Outdoors
Our P7 pupils made the most of the beautiful weather recently by taking their learning outdoors for a fun and energetic maths challenge. The children were set an active task: how many ball bounces could they complete in just 30 seconds?
There was great excitement and determination as everyone gave their best effort, demonstrating excellent coordination, focus and resilience. Back in their groups, pupils then organised and presented their results clearly in tables. Using this data, they explored key mathematical concepts including mean, mode, median and range, helping to bring their learning to life in an engaging and meaningful way.
It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm, teamwork and problem-solving skills on display, all while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. A brilliant example of outdoor learning at its best!
