Our Primary 7 pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic two-day trip to the Gaeltacht in Gaoth Dobhair, and what an adventure it was! The itinerary was packed with exciting activities and visits to local attractions, including Lurgybrack Fun Farm, Letterkenny Shopping Centre, Carrickfin and Bunbeg beaches, and the brilliant Ionad Cois Locha adventure centre. Each stop offered a unique experience, combining fun, exploration, and cultural learning.
Most importantly, the trip gave our pupils a valuable opportunity to practise their Irish language skills in a real-life setting. It was a joy to hear them speaking Irish with such confidence and enthusiasm, bringing their classroom learning to life in the heart of the Gaeltacht. The children made wonderful memories, strengthened friendships, and represented St Teresa’s with pride and positivity throughout the trip.
