Our annual Sports Day was a wonderful two-day celebration of fun, fitness, and teamwork, enjoyed by all our pupils and staff.
Key Stage 2 pupils took part on Wednesday, making the most of the sunshine as they competed with great enthusiasm and energy. On Friday, our Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 pupils enjoyed their Sports Day in cooler conditions, which made for a very comfortable and equally exciting day of events.
Across both days, the children participated in a wide range of activities, including the Long Kick, Welly Throw, Spud and Spoon Race, Sack Race, Sprint Race, and the Long Run. Each event showcased the pupils’ determination, effort, and excellent sportsmanship, with everyone encouraging one another and taking part with huge smiles.
A huge thank you goes to Mr McCullagh and Mr Gallagher for their excellent organisation and for ensuring that both days ran so smoothly. We are also very grateful to all the staff of St Teresa’s for their support, encouragement, and help throughout the events.
It was a truly enjoyable occasion for everyone involved—well done to all our pupils for taking part and making it such a success!
