Scoil Spreagtha Awards
5th Jun 2025
We had a fantastic day at the University of Ulster Magee Campus celebrating the Scoil Spreagtha Awards, an important initiative promoting the Irish language in schools, in partnership with Gael Linn and Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin.
Representing St. Teresa’s PS were Aoibhinn, Cianna, and Maisie, joined by Mrs McElholm and Mrs Tuohey, to proudly receive our accreditation award for the second year running.
We would like to sincerely thank Séamas Mac Eochaidh for guiding us through the scheme, as well as Malachy O’Neill and everyone who has supported this initiative to help it continue to flourish in our school.
A big thank you to all our staff and pupils for their enthusiastic and ongoing use of our teanga dhúchais across the school. Your dedication keeps the Irish language alive and thriving at St. Teresa’s.
We look forward to continuing this exciting journey together. Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine — Together, we thrive.
