St Teresa’s recognised Nationally for Gaelic Games and Culture

7th Mar 2026

Staff members from St Teresa’s recently travelled to Dromoland, Co. Clare to represent our school at the National Cumann na mBunscol Awards Ceremony. We were honoured to have been shortlisted for this prestigious annual event, which celebrates Gaelic games and Irish culture in schools across the country.

We are delighted to announce that St Teresa’s was awarded first place in the category ‘Promotion of Gaelic Games and Culture’. This achievement reflects the passion, dedication and enthusiasm of our pupils and staff, who work tirelessly to promote, share and celebrate Gaelic games and the rich Irish culture that thrives within our school community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our pupils, staff, families and the wider community for their continued support. Your commitment enables us to provide wonderful experiences and opportunities for the children of St Teresa’s.

We also wish to acknowledge the Cumann na mBunscol committee and county delegates for their ongoing work in nurturing and developing Gaelic games and culture at school, county and national level.
