In Primary 2, we’ve been enjoying the much-loved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar as part of our learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.
The children explored the story in a creative and engaging way—producing beautiful artwork inspired by the caterpillar’s journey. Using a variety of materials, they recreated the story with fruit-themed art and crafted detailed representations of each stage in the butterfly’s life cycle.
It’s been a wonderful combination of literacy, science, and art, and the children’s imagination and creativity truly shone through in their work. Well done, Primary 2!
