Our P4 and P5 pupils enjoyed a fantastic workshop today with Reece from Omagh and Fermanagh Council. The children learned all about winter animals and how they survive the colder months, exploring topics such as hibernation, migration and foraging for food. They then got hands-on by making their own bird feeders and placing them around the school grounds, before spending time outdoors identifying different garden birds. It was a wonderful, engaging experience that helped deepen their understanding of nature and the wildlife around us.
