World Down Syndrome Day – Odd Socks Celebration
23rd Mar 2026
Today, our staff and pupils proudly took part in World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated each year on 21st March. To mark the occasion, everyone came to school wearing bright, colourful, and wonderfully mismatched odd socks.
The odd socks are a fun and meaningful symbol that help us raise awareness, celebrate individuality, and show that being different is something to embrace and enjoy. Our school community came together to promote inclusion, kindness, and understanding, creating a cheerful splash of colour throughout the corridors and classrooms.
A huge thank you to all pupils, families, and staff for joining in and helping to make this an uplifting and memorable day!
